Balancing

My heart balances lightly on the edge of night and day
Waiting for the breath of dawn
There a sea of pale blue laughter spins the light into sparks of possibility
Softening the edges of the spaces in between

Out of the depths rises courage undreamt
Ripening hope, filling in shadows
Love belongs in this place
Where the future is filled and full
And two wholes make one
